Thirty Second Timeout

Hello Friends-

So, as you may or may not know, I decided to spend the week on a pastel drawing, to grow my Penn State collection. It was the first time I documented the process and created an album. I hadn’t drawn in some time, and it was really great getting back to what I do best.

In any case, I also learned that the change in pace and brief timeout from writing cleared my mind and prepared me to return to my story. And I think I’ll incorporate these drawing timeouts more regularly in the future. So with a week to go until Christmas, I plan to pump out a few more chapters, and get this novel closer to completion.
