Design For The Dream

What If An Epilepsy Seizure Dream Becomes A Reality?
This is my seventh Rembrandt Painter novel . . . An inside look at the life of a freelance graphic designer with epilepsy and the continuation of a fun series with a broad cast of likable characters
During his first ambulatory EEG, freelance graphic designer Remi Painter dreams heavily–an indicator of excess seizure activity–and is told by Dr. Amos Wiley, the neurologist, something must change or he could die.
After hoping for a hidden cure, Remi reconsiders a suggested traditional drug and moves in with his best friends, Marshall and Lela Houston, as he adjusts to new dosages. They are willing to host him and face the risk. Loyal genius buddy, Jethro Silva, also risks offering support during the transition.
There is slight improvement, but Dr. Wiley wants to take a bigger risk. Integrate Remi into a secret study. He realizes the drug is titrating, and yet the dreams could influence science as he knows it.
And then Remi is given a medical device with too much capability. One with technology that isn’t intended for the science project, and can’t be exposed under any circumstances.
The Federal Health Organization (FHO) is tracking Dr. Wiley’s dream-based study, questioning his methods and findings, whether to make them a reality for people with epilepsy. Now they must remove Remi through any means, even if it endangers his friends and jeopardizes the results.
Will Remi live to dream of a bright future? Or will his time end in a raging nightmare?
